The Chinese seem to have favored Australian houses for years. According to Credit Suisse statistics, Chinese buyers have purchased almost one quarter of the new houses in Sydney. At the same time, tourism has taken the place of coal mining as the second largest foreign exchange-creating sector as an increasing number of Chinese tourists flow into Australia.

What on earth is the secret behind the booming tourism and real estate sectors? What a sort of power do local businesses have? A look at the CMEE Australia Pavilion will likely answer your question.

Five Australian exhibitors participate in the CMEE, including Crown Export International Pty Ltd., Cheung Kong Property Holdings (Australia), Four Seasons Travel and Proudex International. Altogether seven stands are dedicated to Australian beef products, seafood products, tourism and real estate.

Tourism and real estate are the highlights of the Australia Pavilion. Both Cheung Kong Property Holdings (Australia) and Supreme Holiday are local leading enterprises with good reputation in China.

Cheung Kong Property Holdings (Australia), one of the biggest Australian companies, is primarily a developer of high-end apartment towers in prime locations. Apart from high-end real estate projects in Australia, Cheung Kong Property Holdings (Australia) is also a promoter and seller in the international market, especially the Chinese market.

Sofia, a subsidiary of Cheung Kong Property Holdings (Australia), is a brand familiar to Chinese consumers. A professional maker of custom home wardrobes, Sofia is a premiere public company in China with an annual turnover of over RMB2 billion. Sofia wardrobe products are also one of the hit products launched in the expo.

A subsidiary of Royalty Investment & Management Group, Supreme Holiday is primarily a developer and manager of local Australian hotel and resort establishments. It’s also an expert in business development in Australia, immigrant investor programs and related services.

Besides, CCPIT Guangdong branch has also got five stands for two Australian businesses, i.e. Australia Farm Trading Co., Ltd. and Vastrade Pty Ltd., which exhibit wine cabinets and wine sets, and food specialties, respectively.
