CMEE Executive Secretary-general Chen Zhongqiu visited Dongguan Social Organization Administration with his colleagues on the afternoon of October 10, expressing hope for more active involvement of the Administration in encouraging local trade associations to participate in the CMEE.
Secretary-general Chen Zhongqiu said the forthcoming CMEE was meant to be more practical and erect an instrumental trade and cooperation platform. The Organizing Committee has hitherto received the applications for 2,800 stands filed by 1,312 Chinese and foreign companies from 70 countries and regions (including 50 which will have exhibitors). Compared with last year, this expo is going to be more international with more powerful exhibitors and upper-scale exhibitions and more highlights. Professional local visitors and buyers must not miss the good chance since it takes places in their own home city. To this end, Secretary-general Chen Zhongqiu asked Dongguan Social Organization Administration to actively encourage participation of local trade associations in the CMEE.
Dongguan Social Organization Administration Director General Ye Xuebin was assured that the sequence of highlights this year were to interest both professional visitors and buyers a lot. So far, over 200 trade associations have registered with the Administration, which will utilize all resources available to upgrade promotional efforts. Especially important is to mobilize local trade associations from six major segments to participate in the CMEE for more successful deals.
It is expected to have 20,000 professional visitors to the exhibition this year.
